And yet, it all still makes sense in the PinkPantheress universe. The latest lore drop is the reveal that PinkPantheress is now claiming that she is totally banned from Sainsbury’s. Every supermarket branch of Sainsbury’s in the UK, in fact. And she’s just told the anecdote of why…

In an interview with GQ, PinkPantheress was asked “what is some legal behaviour that feels illegal?” I think Vicky misunderstood the question, because she sort of just listed a crime. But still.

Pink said “My friend stole a Drumstick from Sainsbury’s, but that actually is illegal. But I remember thinking to myself like – and we got banned – and we really went through it. I got banned, but I didn’t steal anything. I remember thinking like given our age at the time, one Drumstick resulting in a ban, it’s a bit much. Because we were banned from all Sainsbury’s across the country.”

Well, does the ban still stand? The Tab reached out to Sainsbury’s for comment to confirm whether PinkPantheress is still banned from all the locations in the country. A representative for Sainsbury’s confirmed to me that the supermarket cannot verify the claim that PinkPantheress is banned. So, Vicky, if you’re reading this – just try your luck, hun.
