There’s a wild theory Megan and Conor dated *before* Love Island – here’s the evidence

Last week things were finally looking better for Conor on Love Island, when he started to crack on with Megan. She and Tommy ended things, and Conor ended it with Emily, and then they tested their connection. This was all well and good, but then Megan was brutally dumped.

As she packed her bags, Conor and Megan shared an emotional goodbye. Conor cried as Megan left the villa, which everyone thought was a bit over dramatic, but maybe it wasn’t? That’s because rumour has it Conor and Megan knew each other before Love Island even began. Scandalous!

TikTok has been hot on the theory, and has found two solid pieces of “evidence” and ran with it. Look, of course this is just internet chatter, but people are DEEP in this.

The first piece of evidence is pretty standard when people believe Islanders knew each other before the show. Megan and Conor have been pictured at the same place, at the same time. People have found one photo of Megan with a friend, and a photo of Conor – apparently taken at the same club, on the same night.

“Photo of Megan and Conor at the same place btw, proving they were together in real life,” the photos are captioned. Whilst the pictures do look like a similar venue, one person said: “They may have been in the same place, doesn’t mean they knew each other. I’m sure at some point, we’ve all been in the same place as somebody we met later in life.” Fair.

But, the theory doesn’t end there. People have apparently found actual pictures of Megan and Conor together, taken months before Love Island 2025.

“Biggest plot of 2025,” one post said. “Conor and Megan are dating in real life and have been planning this this whole time.” A pretty wild claim.

Just to add to the drama, Megan already follows Conor on Instagram. Despite this, lots of people are saying the girl in the photo isn’t Megan, but I’m not sure! This still doesn’t explain the Insta follow!

On the show, the pair of them fancying each other and cracking on did feel a bit like it came out of nowhere. But, what if it was planned all along? Do you believe the theory?
