‘Highly disturbing’: Bonnie Blue’s comments section is torn to shreds over most recent collab

‘I don’t even know what to say anymore… I’m just sad about this’

Ever since Bonnie Blue announced her latest collab was going to be with Andrew Tate, her comments section has been torn to shreds. And rightly so.

Tate is currently facing charges of rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking. Bonnie has always claimed her huge challenges are empowering, and she does them because she loves them. The collab isn’t a good look for her… at all.

She and Tate appeared on Rob Moore’s Disruptors, a podcast which platforms “the most disruptive individuals on the planet”. That they both are. And the eye-roll inducing interview itself is nearly three hours of them clearly both trying to say the most controversial things to get people talking. It seems to have worked. Because now, everyone is having their say.

Bonnie is used to backlash, but her Instagram post about this got more than ever. “This is actually the grossest thing you’ve done,” one person said. Another added: “They deserve each other.” A third called it “highly disturbing”.

Others seemed to have genuine upset that this is the state of online culture, with one person saying that had previously “rooted” for Bonnie, but that’s a thing of the past now. “I don’t even know what to say anymore… I’m just sad about this,” one said. Another said: “Just when you think the internet couldn’t get any more disgusting.”

Countless comments just said: “Unfollowed.” I’m not sure this was quite the moment Bonnie expected it to be.

At lot also noted that the tone of the interview made it feel as though Tate was “mocking” Bonnie, but she didn’t realise. “Bonnie, as well as a lot of these comments, fail to see that Tate is using her as an example as an argument against feminism,” one person in the YouTube comments said. Another added: “I don’t think Bonnie realised that Andrew was making fun of her the entire time.”

This is a mess, and I want out.
