MAFS Australia 2025 groom dragged for rant about his ‘high standards’ for women
God forbid a woman have a drink at the weekend!
One, ahem, opinion-provoking MAFS Australia 2025 groom has posted a video outlining his “high standards” for the women he dates, and the people are not impressed.
Adrian Araouzou shared the controversial video to Instagram. The clip shows Adrian manspreading on a camp chair by a fire, while munching away at some unknown meat and pastry concoction. His outfit resembles what an extra from I’m A Celebrity would wear. The video is captioned: “Unpopular opinion”. Um, you said it, mate.
The text over Adrian’s video reads: “High standards because I don’t want my kids to have a mum who’s drunk every weekend, thinks it’s okay to disrespect their body, looks at doing anything for their man as a chore, has no faith in God, or prioritises material things over nature’s beauty.”
Um, okay.
MAFS viewers were not impressed with Adrian’s take.
“What do you bring to the table though…” Someone commented.
Another person wrote: “Good luck with that.. maybe you should join the priesthood.. no woman would touch you now with your attitude.”
“You just hit a new low here,” someone wrote.
One MAFS viewer said: “Wow, it’s giving ‘i hate that she’s happy’”.
Another Instagram user recommended he tried watching The Handmaid’s Tale.
In another Instagram video, Adrian made a list of “propogander” (yup, he spelt it like that) he’s not falling for. He included on the list, “Men and women are equal”.
Adrian’s video about womankind followed the news that his ex Awhina Rutene is dating her fellow MAFS Australia participant Billy Belcher. Honestly, will the couples swaps never end? Adrian did not appear to be too thrilled about this update – he said it would be “a bit embarrassing” if Billy and Awhina weren’t really into each other, and he complained about the “games certain couples are playing”. Ouch.
