MAFS groom calls ex bride ’embarrassing’ after she reveals she’s dating someone from the show

A MAFS Australia 2025 groom has slated his former bride, after it was revealed she’s now dating someone else from the show. It’s giving… bitter.

For months, there have been rumours floating around about if Awhina and Billy are an item after the show. This all came after their partners, Adrian and Sierah, got caught up in a “cheating scandal” whilst in the experiment.

Then, this week, Awhina and Billy all but confirmed they are in fact dating now. They uploaded matching Instagram stories showing they were on a posh dinner date together, and then went Insta official. They posted a picture together, with the caption: “I’ll keep this one 🤭.”

Of course, Awhina’s MAFS ex Adrian wasn’t going to keep quiet. He called them stringing people along with their couple swap “embarrassing” and mentioned couples “playing games”. Ouch.

“I have no clue what those two are doing, [but] if so, good luck to them. If they are happy, go for it,” he told Yahoo Lifestyle. “I hope it’s legit, otherwise [it would] be a bit embarrassing to act like a couple just for likes and attention.

“I don’t understand all these games certain couples are playing. If you’re with someone and happy, put it out to the world [and] be proud you guys are together. Otherwise, keep it private until it’s official. Wish them both nothing but happiness and a healthy, successful relationship.”

Awhina and Billy have also been sharing some adorable TikToks of Billy hanging out with her son. Famously, Adrian has always really unsure about being with someone who had a child, and they struggled to work out how they would fit into each other’s lifestyles. Honestly, if Awhina and Billy are a thing, it looks as though she’s finally got it on lock. Good for them!
