Right now, the show everyone can’t stop talking about is Sirens on Netflix. It’s the latest big drama, and has had rave reviews.

Julianne Moore, Milly Alcock, Meghann Fahy and Kevin Bacon all star in the five-part miniseries. It’s been compared to The White Lotus, which has a lot of tuning in, HARD.

But, the general synopsis is a bit confusing. Whilst you’re almost definitely going to give in and watch all of Sirens this weekend, you might be wanting a spoiler free explanation of what it’s all about first.

Right, what is Sirens on Netflix about?

Sirens follows Simone, and her billionaire socialite boss Michaela Kell. They live on a luxury beach estate, and host equally as luxury and lavish events, for the rich and famous.

Then, Simone’s sister Devon turns up. Devon has been looking after their father back home, who is extremely unwell. All she wants is her sister to come home and help her, and stop pretending to live this fancy life as an assistant to a billionaire.

The more Devon learns about her sister’s life and job, the more strange it feels. There are rumours of deaths and cults, and it’s all very messy. Devon is worried about how intense the relationship Simone has with Michaela is. Plus, Michaela is ridiculously shady.
