It came down to a nail biting finish, with Max winning by taking just 52 per cent of the vote! A strong effort from Lizzie.

A win for finance bros across the country, Max said it made his “master’s year worth it”, and we can’t wait to spot this title in prime of place on his LinkedIn page. He added he’s “grateful” and “thrilled” so we are sure this will lead him to do great, great things.

A proud member of UON Rugby League, Max won over the vote with his powerful quote of: “If you would rather study than go to Crisis, remember the owner of Crisis has a family to feed, so get that orange VK.”

As we come to last few Crisis’ of the year, this message really resonates, making it time to attend as many as possible – especially if you are graduating this year.

In terms of celebrating, Max said: “I might have to have a couple beers and see where the night ends.”

So, keep an eye out in Sheaves tonight for this BNOC, although we can’t promise there won’t be a queue to meet him.
