It’s time: Nottingham BNOC 2024/25 voting has opened for the first round

Put down your flashcards, we are bringing you the first round of Nottingham’s Biggest Name on Campus after the many nominations that came flying in! You might recognise the faces of these campus legends, but it’s time to learn a bit more about this year’s candidates.

Lewis: Third year, genetics

A man of kayaking, biology and northerner’s society, often labelled the big three, Lewis is known across many a social scene in Notts.

His favourite night out is a Rock City Thursday, and who can blame him with the great two for one drinks that are on offer and in infamous silent disco. If his friends could describe himself in three words, they would be flamboyant, unorthodox and outdoorsy.

If this sounds like the making of the 2025 BNOC, vote Lewis!

Aiden: Second year, mechanical engineering

Aiden is known for being funny, playful, and laid back, the ultimate triple threat.

This icon can be found at an ACS social and is another big fan of a Rock City Thursdays, I’m sensing a theme. Maybe Lewis and Aiden can dance it out at the silent disco for this year’s title of BNOC.

Lizzie: Third year, adult nursing

Lizzie, everyone’s favourite ginger, is the third and final candidate for this round of BNOC.

When she’s not saving the trees, she can be found singing her heart away during karaoke at Raglan Road, followed by a cheeky Crisis – who could want for more. She is also a proud member of UoN netball, making her a very strong choice for this title.
