Adrian explodes over Awhina’s MAFS cheating claim and reveals what he was really doing

After his wife claimed he left the apartment to continue cheating during the filming of MAFS Australia, Adrian Araouzou responded in kind with a fiery explanation about what he was really doing. I didn’t think Adrian and Awhina could get any messier, but here we are.

Amidst the several other cheating scandals, Awhina Rutene sat down with Abbie Chatfield to talk about her experience on MAFS Australia season 12. It was here that she claimed her on-screen husband Adrian had ditched her at the apartment to go and cheat.

“Adrian did in fact hook up with someone and had sex with someone [during filming],” Awhina dished. “So I had to call him out during filming. If this is the case, not only was his behaviour and the experiment disgusting, but the one thing that I just expected, like the bare minimum, is don’t cheat on me, it’s that simple.”

We should know by now that Adrian is not the type of man to leave a messy MAFS situation well enough alone, so naturally, he spoke to the MailOnline about Awhina’s cheating claims.

“Absolutely not. As if I would need to go have sex with someone in that space of filming,” he said.

Instead, Adrian claimed that he was attending a friend’s birthday party that Awhina was also invited to. She declined, according to him.

“I was out for a mate’s birthday and went past mine to grab a few things, then went back to the apartment,” he added.

It’s hard to keep up with all the MAFS cheating claims this year because it seems the season 12 cast has never heard of monogamy, despite being on a show all about marriage.

The first Adrian cheating scandal was with Billy’s wife Sierah Swepstone, with the two of them spending time together both on and off camera. They claimed to be just friends despite being called out by their respective partners on more than one occasion. Now, seven months after filming wrapped, they are no longer on speaking terms.

The second one came from the mouth of Awhina’s iconic sister Cleo, with her teasing the scandal in an interview with So Dramatic.

“I’ve heard from multiple sources that Adrian cheated on Awhina with someone who wasn’t in the experiment. And Cleo was planning on dropping this bombshell in this interview,” host Megan Pustetto said at the time.

Now, this last one might actually be the one Cleo mentioned, but ANOTHER woman called Geneva came forward and claimed that she dated Adrian for around six weeks just after his wedding to Awhina. At the same time, a second woman called Ali claimed she had spent time with Adrian shortly after Geneva.

The guy needs to take a break from both cheating and reality TV.
