Nominations for Nottingham’s 2024/2025 BNOC are officially open

Huge news for students across Nottingham – the most anticipated event of the year is about to happen, and it couldn’t have come soon enough with the slog of exams getting us down. It’s time to nominate your Big Name On Campus (BNOC) for 2024/2025 year.

For those new this year to university life or for some silly reason not heard of it, being named BNOC is the greatest honour you could ever receive and would put you on a celebrity level with Andy the Hoe himself. It’s been reported to be even better than a free Crisis ticket, no queue at the George Green café or even winning Varsity!

If you think you could be in with a chance to win, it’s time to get campaigning.

BNOC is decided by the students of Nottingham so you will be able to nominate your housemates, lecture crushes or enemies and especially that annoying friend who you can’t go anywhere without them stopping to chat to ten people along the way. It’s also not just open for Uni of students, but Trent students too!

All lucky nominate candidates will be contacted via Instagram by our wonderful editorial team so make sure to keep an eye on your message requests!

So, if you are desperate for a break from dissertation writing and need some light from the depths of Hallward or George Green, get voting!
