Beth reveals how awful it was living with Ryan in MAFS partner swap, and it’s so savage

Beth has opened up about what it was really like living with Ryan during the MAFS Australia Partner Swap, and she didn’t hold back.

All of the brides and grooms were forced to swap partners for a few nights as part of Feedback Week, to get other people’s real opinions on their relationships.

None of them got to choose who they were paired with, and Beth got put with Ryan, which she wasn’t very happy about at all.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia after the show, the 28-year-old savagely said: “‘Fu**ing hell, I didn’t want to live with Ryan, did I? He was the last on my list.”

“Leaving Teejay was hard, he was like my comfort blanket. And then going to live with Ryan, someone I had barely spoken to, and the few words we had exchanged were arguments, was incredibly uncomfortable.”

One of the first things Beth did was put fresh sheets on the bed because she didn’t want to “lie in Jacqui’s fake tan”. She also didn’t want to sleep in the same bed as Ryan, so she piled up pillows between them to make sure they didn’t touch.

“I didn’t want to be a diva, but I also didn’t want to be anywhere near him in bed. We needed a pillow fort so I wouldn’t accidentally touch him in the middle of the night – it made my skin crawl.”

“We just didn’t have anything in common. It felt so awkward, I honestly didn’t know what to talk to him about. We made small talk and tried to make the best of it, but it was just really uncomfortable,” Beth added.

She said Ryan is “delusional” and thinks he’s “God’s gift to man and that he never does anything wrong”.

“He used the opportunity to have a go at me. There were so many moments where I thought, ‘Okay, maybe he is a nice guy,’ but then he’d do things like that and I’d realise, ‘No, maybe he’s not.’ He was just really up and down.”

On MAFS, we saw her walk into Ryan’s apartment and gasp at the “shrine” of photos of Jacqui and Ryan had on their walls.

“Walking into their apartment and seeing the shrine was insane. They had photos plastered all over the walls, even on the fridge. It just added to the confusion because I’d only ever seen their relationship be hot and cold,” she added.

It sounds like she couldn’t wait to get out of there!
