Calling student musicians: Applications are open to perform at Winestock 2025
Be in with the chance to perform at Bristol Uni’s biggest end-of-year celebration
Winestock is returning for 2025, hosting Bristol University’s biggest end of year ball.
But have you ever thought of not only attending as a guest, but also showcasing your musical talent? The Winestock team are now looking for musicians to play at this year’s event and get paid to do it!
The ball is split across three days this year, each correlating to different year groups: Friday 16th May (First years), Saturday 17th May (second years) and Sunday 18th May (all final years).
If you haven’t attended before, Winestock is designed to give you the ultimate black tie festival experience right on your doorstep. A celebration at the end of the academic year, in the true student spirit: With wine refills.
Their mission in creating a fun, accessible formal event has always been “Wine is for everyone. Formal events are for everyone. Creating events that act as a medium for the appreciation of wine, food and people.”
Winestock is a unique opportunity that every student musician should apply for; in front of the 9,000 attendees, this event gives budding musicians great exposure to the music scene.
As Winestock enters its fifth year of providing Bristol Uni students with the greatest ball on Clifton Downs, it is the perfect opportunity to grow your platform as a music artist.
The stage hosts a variety of DJs, singers, bands and even a cappella – with all types of genres represented, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, creating Winestock’s energetic and vibrant environment.
Additionally, the best acts will have the chance to play at the first ever Winestock London, taking their music beyond Bristol to an even larger audience.
So, what are your perks in applying/ being accepted? Alongside getting your musical name out there, you will also have:
- Professional performance photos and videos
- Potential to be featured on Wokewines’ social media.
- Best acts will have the opportunity to play at the first London Winestock
