There has been some major confusion, so here’s the ACTUAL release date for MAFS Australia

MAFS Australia has FINALLY confirmed when it’s coming to the UK, and not to alarm you, but we are literally days away from more chaos, arguments, and hopefully a bit of love.

Married at First Sight started airing down under on Channel 9 and 9Now back in January, and as usual, we UK watchers have tried to avoid spoilers to the best of our ability. Just stay off Reddit because spoilers are rife.

On Twitter, there has been some confusion about the exact date season 12 is heading to the UK with some suggesting the release date was Monday, February 24. But that’s not the case.

When is MAFS Australia airing in the UK?

This week, Channel 4 confirmed that MAFS Australia’s first episode will be dropping in the UK on March 3 at 9 pm. The rest of the season will follow the same timing schedule with episodes also available to stream online.

Mel Schilling, John Aiken, and Alessandra Rampolla will once again be on hand to help the couples through trials and tribulations and a recently released teaser did give us a brief glimpse at the drama set to unfold.

Teasing the new season, John told the MailOnline that season 12 is introducing a brand new twist for the first time.

“We can’t give you exactly what it is, but what we can say is at Married At First Sight, what we are always trying to do is just give the viewers something a little different. And also the participants, so they don’t know what’s coming,” he said.

Adding to John’s statement, Alessandra teased the viewpoints of the couples as she explained: “We can expect, of course, a lot of drama. It’s really interesting because when the participants come in, they always say they want something different from what they’re living in the outside world with dating.

“And yet, when given the opportunity, sometimes they choose exactly what they were choosing prior. So, it’s really interesting to delve into human behaviour and the way that adults are facing the prospect of finding a match and getting into relationships.”

Guys, the MAFS UK reunion is even closer

To make matters even better, the MAFS UK reunion is now booked for February 24 with returning participants such as Ella Morgan said to be making an appearance.
