Tasha finally breaks her silence on Andrew split and hints this is the really sad reason

Andrew Le Page finally addressed his split from Tasha Ghouri last week, and she has now broken her silence and hinted at the sad reason they broke up.

“Hi everyone. Just on a walk. I know a lot of you are asking me a lot of questions and want to know what has been going on,” she said on Snapchat.

“I won’t be speaking on the situation – it’s a private side of my life which I’m still dealing with internally and mentally.”

“It’s private for me and as much as I do want to share it with you all, one day I will, but I’m still processing everything that has happened and going on.”

“I hope you can all understand on why I’ve not spoken out on the situation,” Tasha continued before saying she couldn’t wait to give her dad a “big hug” after the Strictly tour.

She then liked an All On The Board quote that said: “It’s better to be single and on your own, rather than being with someone who makes you feel lonely and as if you’re alone.”

The post hints that Tasha and Andrew split because he made her feel lonely and just wasn’t there for her when she needed him, which is actually really sad.

It comes after Andrew addressed the break up for the first time on Instagram, writing: “So guys it’s been a pretty crap start to the year and one I didn’t expect.”

“However, life goes on and I’m doing everything in my power to stay positive. All the support has meant the world,” he continued.

Andrew said he’s cried more times this year than he has in his “whole life” and revealed he’s moving back to Guernsey, where he lived before Love Island.

Tasha and Andrew met on the reality show in 2022 and seemed super in love, even starting a house renovation project together in March 2024.

However, rumours began circling that they had split in January 2025 and a source told The Sun “cracks started to show” when she went on Strictly.

“She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by,” they said.

Another source claimed Tasha’s “u-turn” on wanting a family caused their split, but the Instagram post she liked shows there’s clearly more to the story.
