‘End of an era’: Andrew posts first utterly heartbreaking statement about split from Tasha

Andrew Le Page has finally posted a statement confirming his split from Love Island girlfriend, Tasha Ghouri. It was reported in the new year that the Love Island 2022 couple had broken up, after over two years together.

At the time, Andrew never posted about the split. It was previously said he had a statement ready to post on his socials about their breakup, but was “struggling” too much over the “incredibly painful” situation.

However, over the weekend, Andrew posted for the first time. After leaving the villa, Andrew and Tasha bought a home together and were in the process of doing it up. They created a home Instagram account. As Andrew posted about the split, he also said what the latest for their joint house was.

“End of an era,” he began. “So guys, it’s been a pretty crap start to the year and one I didn’t expect. However, life goes on and I’m doing everything in my power to stay positive. All the support has meant the world. I’ve cried more times this year than I have my whole life.”

Sharing an update about their house, Andrew tagged the joint Instagram account. He added: “[The house] is on hold for now but I will be looking for a new project soon so keep your eyes peeled.” He then mentioned their shared dog, Luna, and said: “Luna girl I’ll be getting you a new garden to play in I promise.”

Andrew ended the statement: “Back to Guernsey I go… I’ll be back.” Guys, this is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever read?!

At the time their split was announced, it was said the couple had “hit a rocky patch”. They then decided to end things whilst Tasha was on Strictly.
