Here are 10 ways to have the perfect Galentine’s Day in Exeter

Love comes and goes but the girls are forever

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. This means you will see everyone and their man posting pictures of them in The Ivy followed with pictures of roses, chocolates and teddy bears.

However, if you’re spending Valentine’s single this year, don’t you worry – as it’s the perfect excuse to celebrate with your girls, making it a Galentine’s instead.

Whether you’re happily single or have had your heart broken by a rugby boy, use this day to embrace the fun and friendships that come with single life.

Lucky for us, Exeter is not short of Galentine’s hotspots. So, here you have 10 ways to celebrate Galentine’s with your girl friends, make this day a memorable celebration of friendship and love!

1. Bring-your-own-platter night

Pick a fun theme and have each person create a platter that fits it. From colourful spreads to cultural cuisines, everyone can get creative with their platters.

On the day, you’ll all come together with your masterpieces and enjoy a variety of treats. You could have a sweet treat board, a savoury board or even a dips board.

Pair the feast with a classic rom-com and you’ve got the recipe for the perfect girls’ night in.

2. Bottomless brunch

What better way to spend this lonely day than with a delicious meal, bottomless drinks and your best friends?

Head to Boom Battle Bar for their Valentine’s-themed brunch or opt for the Galentine’s Bottomless Brunch at Badavis Lounge, both on the February 15th. With endless cocktails and great vibes, it’s the perfect way to celebrate girlhood this Galentine’s.
