Curtis’ ex claims he made her PRETEND they broke up so he could go on Love Island again

Curtis Pritchard broke up with his ex Sophie Sheridan right before going on All Stars, and now she’s blasted him in a new interview.

Speaking to The Sun, the 24-year-old claimed that he asked her to pretend they broke up so he could go on Love Island Games in 2023 but they were secretly still together.

“When he was on Love Island Games it was so difficult but he convinced me to pretend we weren’t together anymore because he needed the money for our future,” she said.

“Everyone thinks if you’ve been on Love Island you’re filthy rich, but that’s not the case, so I felt pressure to go along with his plan.”

She claimed he told her it was “for the best” that she kept their relationship private because she wasn’t in the public eye and he didn’t want anything to affect the relationship.

“Like any other girl would, I wanted to share some of our really nice pictures together but he told me I couldn’t post anything on social media. He wanted us kept under wraps,” she added.

“It was very tough for a long time after he got back from filming The Games. It’s like psychological trauma and, to be honest, I don’t really think I’m over it yet.”

When he got back from filming the show in Fiji, they continued their relationship until splitting October 2024.

They were together for almost three years and Sophie claimed he broke up with her when Love Island All Stars casting came around again, which was “convenient timing”.

She said the breakup came as a massive shock to her because they had spoken about the future, about getting married and having kids, then “suddenly it was over”.

“I knew straight away he would be going on Love Island All Stars because he was asked the year before,” the 24-year-old revealed.

“He knew I wouldn’t fake another break-up. I need to stand up for myself and actually tell the truth because I’ve just been a doormat for nearly three years.”

Sophie said she feels like she finally has to tell the truth because he was so “disrespectful” towards her and their relationship.
