Wait, is Min-su from Squid Game actually VIP Three?! Wild Player 125 theory debunked
He is a bit suspicious
After Squid Game season two ended on a huge cliffhanger, some wild theories are circling the internet about what will happen next.
From the brutal final game to the Front Man’s link to the old man from season one, all kinds of predictions are going viral online.
One of the biggest theories on TikTok is that Min-su, the shy Player 125, is actually VIP Three – but is it true?! Sadly not.
It all started when someone noticed that the actor who plays Min-su in season two is called Lee David.
That’s a very similar name to the actor who plays VIP Three, the man who wears a gold deer mask, in Squid Game season one.
As his character is quiet and suspicious, people instantly assumed Min-su is secretly one of the rich spectators of the games.
However, that’s not the case. They are actually different actors, they just have almost identical names.
The actor who plays Min-su is Lee Da-wit, a South Korean star who also goes by the name Lee David.
VIP Three is played by an actor called David Lee, IMDb reveals, but they are not the same person.
So, the shy player who gets blackmailed by Thanos definitely isn’t one of the rich VIPs, but someone else might be.
People are convinced that Im Jeong-dae aka Player 100 is an undercover VIP who has gone into the games.
He’s the loud older man who is always convincing everyone to play more games and doesn’t seem to have any fear.

Being a VIP would explain why he isn’t scared of continuing – he knows what’s coming next and is certain he won’t die.
Plus, his number is the opposite of 001, which is the other undercover player, the Front Man.
It could all be a big coincidence, but it’s a very plausible theory that actually makes a lot of sense.
Season three is coming to Netflix later this year, so we’ll have to wait and see.
