‘You’re ridiculously immature’: The most savage MAFS UK 2024 roasts from the experts
I actually had to look away during some of these
The experts are one of the best parts of MAFS, and they can really bring the heat when they need to. This year has brought an ABUNDANCE of chaos from the contestants: Caspar needed humbling, Alex and Holly wouldn’t stop fighting, and Eve and Charlie went off the rails. They certainly have their work cut out for them, so here’s a roundup of the most savage roasts that the experts have made on MAFS UK so far this year.
Caspar being humbled after Mel’s home visit
Mel said what we were all thinking during her first home visit to Emma and Caspar. After Caspar told his wife Emma “I rarely go for the curvier person” and answered a flat-out no when she asked him if he thought she was sexy in her bikini, we knew the experts would be getting to the root of this problem. Mel hit the nail on the head, and asked Caspar “Of all the things you could have said to her, why do you think you chose her body to focus on?” He was quick to make matters worse when he replied “It was my honest truth, I didn’t want to lie. What I like generally in women is someone who is slightly slimmer. That, I said the truth.”
Mel then shifted the conversation to Caspar’s own perception of himself, and asked him “Is it interesting to you then that you chose that particular issue, a person’s body image, to attack in Emma? Do you see that it’s a double standard?” It was pretty scathing towards Caspar, but he definitely needed to hear it.
Paul calling out Alex at the first commitment ceremony
Most Read
If you cast your mind back to the first commitment ceremony, Paul shut down Alex after he and Holly got into a fight on the couch. He told her “If this was not this process, trust me, you would have been ghosted,” and was met with gasps from the entire room, including the experts.
He told Paul: “If I don’t like what I’m seeing, I’m not gonna make time for it.” Paul didn’t hold back in his response, and told Alex “what you just said is ridiculously immature.” Alex did NOT look impressed and voted to leave. If only we’d seen that as a sign of what was yet to come!
Paul telling Adam ‘but you’re married, and you’ve had sex’
After Adam spent the entirety of his commitment ceremony skirting around the fact that he didn’t find Polly attractive, Paul dropped a bombshell on the group: “But you’re married, and you’ve had sex.”
The entire room gasped at learning the information, especially when Adam had just rated Polly a four out of ten to the entire group the night before at the first dinner party. Like Paul said, “it’s nonsense, my man!”
Mel accusing Eve of lying in front of the group
Eve and Charlie were one of the least compatible couples I’ve ever seen get married on MAFS UK, and I think the experts could see that at their final commitment ceremony. Just before the couple decided to part ways, Charlie called out Eve for “listening with her head at the door” into her private interview which she described as her “safe space.”
Eve bluntly denied all of this, and Mel simply said: “Eve, respectfully, you’ve lied on the couch today.” Eve proceeded to break down in tears next to Charlie who was about to have a full-on panic attack. It may have been a harsh truth, but it’s what we all needed to hear to gain some clarity on the situation. Utter chaos!
Giving Richelle and Orson a stern talking to before they left the show
You could tell just how angry Mel was during arguably the most dramatic commitment ceremony of the season. Hannah and Stephen had split up, and so had Richelle and Orson. Richelle wouldn’t stop insulting Orson and Lacey exposed that Hannah had Orson had kissed. Mel was fuming and said to the couple, “you’ve disrespected us, and that’s not something we take lightly.” She then told them to “take a seat.” No thank yous, no goodbyes, just pure pissed-off energy.
