Arguably the hottest power couple in Hollywood right now, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are rolling in money at the minute. And all the while they’re playing florists and superheroes on the big screen, the love birds have been quietly building an empire through a series of successful side hustles. From innovative lifestyle brands to football clubs, Blake and Ryan are proving they’re as savvy in the boardroom as they are on the red carpet. With Blake worth $5o million and Ryan a whopping $350 million, they’re clearly doing something right.

So, here’s a look at all the successful side hustles of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

Blake’s newly launched beauty brand, Blake Brown

Officially lunching the brand yesterday, Blake Lively introduced us all to her brand new business venture, Blake Brown Beauty. After seven years in the making, the full Blake Brown family consists of Fundamental Nourishing Shampoo, Fundamental Nourishing Mask, Fundamental Strengthening Shampoo, Fundamental Strengthening Mask, All-In-wONEder Leave-In Potion, The Dry Shampoo, Glam Mousse and the Rich Reset Pre-ShampooMask.

Joking that her hair is her most recognisable trait, especially after her cameo as Lady Deadpool, Blake joked that she of course had to create her own line of hair care.

Ryan owns Wrexham FC

Purchasing the English football club for £2 million in 2020 alongside business partner, Rob McElhenney, both men put the little city and the club on the map. The team has thrived under Ryan’s ownership, being promoted to League One in what was its first back to back promotion in its 159 year history.
The club recently defeated Ryan’s hometown club, Vancouver Whitecaps by 4-1, a bittersweet evening for the actor I’d have thought.

Blake’s gourmet cocktails business, Betty Booze

Launching in June 2023, Betty Booze is a range of sparkling gourmet cocktails in a can, made specially to Blake’s homemade recipes. Despite not drinking herself, she has worked tirelessly to perfect the brand of booze, famously claiming that the company doesn’t test on animals, but men.

To recap, Betty Booze, was launched in the US in June last year and is a range of three gourmet sparkling cocktails in a can, made to Blake’s own homemade recipes. She even roped in GBBO star Paul Hollywood for the promotion, so it must be good.

And of course, as Blake is completely sober, it felt rude of her not to launch a sister company that’s completely alcohol free but tastes just as delicious.
Betty Booze is Blake Lively’s second brand to launch in the UK, after the Betty Buzz range of premium adult soft drinks launched in November 2023. They have all the taste of Betty Booze, but of course, none of the booze. 

Ryan’s Aviation Gin

Ryan acquired a stake in Aviation Gin in 2018 and has since gone on to brag about the brand and it’s amazing pairings. One of them being Betty Buzz, obviously. Could there be any better marketing strategy than this?  The brand was actually sold for $845 million, but Ryan is still really involved with the company.

Ryan’s marketing company, Maximum Effort

Founded in 2018, the film production company and digital marketing agency was created by Ryan and George Dewey and has produced many movies and TV series. Ryan’s brand has even been even used to developed several ads for his other businesses.

The side hustles of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds aren’t exclusive to booze. Ryan bought a 25 per cent stake in the wireless brand Mint Mobile back in 2019, appearing in marketing campaigns and helping the company grow. He sold this for a cut of $300 million in May 2024, a healthy little pay check before Deadpool hit the big screens.
