UoN confirms some teaching to remain online next academic year
Most exams are online, too
Some teaching will remain online next academic year, according to details set out on UoN’s website.
Students can expect many of their lectures to continue being delivered online. Meanwhile, smaller group tutorials, seminars, workshops and labs are expected to happen in-person.
All assessments for the 2021/22 academic year will be online, too, unless in-person assessment is necessary for accreditation or practical purposes.

The university has also introduced an “extended” welcome week, which means that teaching for most students will not begin until October 4th.
UoN say they are concerned about a re-emergence of Covid-19 in autumn, but that they are committed to teaching in-person wherever possible through a “flexible” approach and planning.
The mix of online and in-person teaching will vary by department. Students will be contacted by their department to confirm the arrangements for their course.
