Durham slips one place to 4th in the Sunday Times UNAY rankings
Durham has maintained its reputation for academic excellence coming 4th overall in The Sunday Times university rankings.
Despite falling one place Durham has enjoyed a successful academic year having earlier been accepted into the elite Russell Group of research universities.
Average graduate salaries were high at £23,334 with 84% of students gaining employment in their first year after leaving.
Archie Dallas, students’ union president, didn’t have much to say about the rankings but was happy to tell The Sunday Times about Durham’s worst feature: “the hills – you’ll have rock-solid calves on graduation”.
