Tab Business Positions

The Tab‘s readership continues to rise and having secured its domination over the news service in Cambridge, we are looking to further expand our brand and our business plan.

Working with the Tab business team does not only look great on a CV, give you the opportunity to join both a close knit team throughout the organisation but all positions offer numerous perks and the chance of earning a commission.

Local Business Associate

The Tab‘s business team are looking to recruit a local business associate to join the team. The primary role will be to monetize articles on the website and will therefore need to work with the editorial team in order to maintain visibility over the pipeline of articles. This will require ‘door to door selling’ and is an active role. It will require a commitment to be in Cambridge at least a week before the freshers arrive.

Events Manager

The Tab is searching for an events manager to lead The Tab‘s first foray into ents. The individual will be responsible for planning, organising and running a series of Tab nights. There will be the opportunity to form your own small team and you will have the full assistance of The Tab‘s business arm. We are looking for drive and creativity but prior experience and extensive contacts would be a serious bonus.

We are also seeking individuals who are eager to get involved in The Tab but do not feel ready or have the time to assume one of the roles listed above. There will be the opportunity to take on more senior roles in the future and these positions are less time consuming.
