Oxford is the second best university in the UK
Cambridge have beaten us in the Guardian uni rankings again
Oxford has been ranked as the second best university in the UK in the latest Guardian university rankings.
Our ranking sees no change from last year as we again finish behind Cambridge, this year by 4.6 points.
The rest of the top ten are Cambridge, St Andrews, Surrey, Loughborough, Durham, Imperial, Lancaster and Warwick.
Oxford received a score of 95.4 out of 100, and beat Cambridge on several categories including “satisfied with course” and “satisfied with teaching”.
