VIDEO: Man allegedly assaulted by doorstaff outside York McDonald’s
The Police are investigating
Callum McCullochTwo doormen allegedly assaulted a man on the ground outside McDonald’s in York last night. The whole event was caught on camera, and the Police are now investigating.
The video, originally posted on Facebook has been shared 3,500 times and viewed over 150,000 times. It appears to show one doorman kicking the man while the other, who is sat on top of him, proceeds to push his head into the pavement.
The video ends suddenly when one of the doormen apparently knocks the phone from the recorder’s hand.
A McDonald’s spokesman said: “We can confirm that an incident took place outside our restaurant in Blake Street and we are supporting the police with their investigation.”
“Whilst this investigation is ongoing, the individuals in question will not be working at any of our restaurants.”
