Oxford has beaten Cambridge, Sheffield and Leeds into second place in a student experience poll.

Whoever said that Cindies was a better institution than Park End better should think again as the Tabs lose out to Oxford in the fun poll- as opposed to the stuffy academic one.

According to the Times Higher Education’s latest survey, Oxford students rate the quality of their teaching, housing and social life second highest after those at the University of East Anglia.

We have a great time, apparently

12,000 full-time students were asked to review their experience of student life, with Cambridge and Loughborough coming joint third, followed by Bath, Leeds, Dundee, York St John and Lancaster.

Norwich-based UEA, boasting such notable alumni as authors Kazuo Ishiguro and Ian McEwan, as well as actors John Rhys-Davies and Matt Smith, came top of the pile, despite their relatively small student population of 15, 000 compare with Oxford’s 22, 000.

UEA: having even more fun, apparently
