Student temporarily blinded by ‘corrosive liquid’ in mobile phone theft

Police are asking for help identifying the men in these images


A student was left temporarily blinded last Saturday after robbers threw ‘corrosive liquid’ in his face while attempting to steal his phone.

The assault took place on Clumber Street in Nottingham city centre at around 1.30am.

The student was treated in hospital and has since made a full recovery.

The police are now appealing to the public to help identify the men shown in this CCTV footage, who are believed to be connected with the robbery.
