Battle of the Bars: Which Comes Out On Top?

Check this out to see the final results of the Battle of the Bars! Which Bar comes out on top?

So throughout last week The Tab rated and reviewed some of Norwich’s best clubs, but which one is best?

In last place we have Lola Lo’s: being relatively clean and perv free is set against expensive drinks, a long queue and average music all in all make Lola Lo’s an adequate but lacking night out.

Next up in bronze position is UEA’s very own LCR! A floor that feels like it has been covered in PVA glue and a DJ that seems to have an excessive penchant for a bit more than a bit of 1D the LCR can be a good night, but as said in our review, the LCR is only as good as we make it!

In a respectable second place we have the recently reopened and favourite of many third years Mercy XS! It is a fine line that keeps Mercy XS from 1st position, and this line is queue outside. Being an all round good club, it is just a shame you have to wait so long to actually get in!

And in first place we have a tie! Norwich’s alternative bar The Bicycle Shop and Newly opened Wonderland both claim the top spot for the Tab. If you feel like a relaxed night, sitting on a sofa in an intimate setting then the Bicycle Shop is your destination, but if you want to hit the dance floor (and get smashed) for a reasonable price and not have to wait too long in a queue then Wonderland is the club for you!

How would you have placed the clubs we tested? Leave a comment below and let us know!
