WHP are collaborating with Sonar Festival in Barcelona this summer

Stormzy, Bicep and DJ EZ are playing the closing night

Everyone’s favourite underground car park rave spot is reaching greater heights than ever, joining forces with the huge electronic festival Sonar to host Sonar By Night on Saturday 18th June this year.

Boasting a massive line up of cross-genre favourites such as DJ EZ, Ben Klock and Stormzy, it looks set to be as huge as its venue: an open air hanger coined the SonarLab.

This night will close the three day festival, which also boast artists such as Flume, James Blake, and Fatboy Slim.

In a press release, WHP explained how they share a musical vision with the festival: “It is rare to find The Warehouse Project outside of Manchester but we are so looking forward to our first collaboration with the Sonar team.”

This was only the beginning

If Parklife doesn’t finish you off, or if sunny Barcelona appeals to you more than Manc’s tropical rays, this could be the night for you.

English student Emma said: “I always think WHP deserves more European recognition, it’s still so local to Manc which is great, but it’s nice to see them branch out.”

Third year Criminology student Lizzie said: “Even though it’s straight after Parklife I’d definitely fly out for DJ EZ.”
