Brace yourself: Manchester about to be battered by extreme winds and chaos

Does this mean we don’t have to do our exams?

The Met office have issued severe weather warnings for the Greater Manchester area on Wednesday and Thursday.

Winds of up to 60 mph are set to hit Manchester over the next few days along with heavy rain.

What a total drag

Wrap up warm

The yellow weather alert (least scary alert) goes from 3pm on Wednesday until 6am on Thursday.

A Met Office forecaster has used their fortune telling powers to even predict a “risk of localised disruption to transport and possibly power supplies.”
