Loughborough student on The Undateables

Katie took part in the show that aired last Monday


On Monday 2nd January, Katie, a textiles student at Loughborough appeared on the Undateables.

She has been a life-long sufferer of narcolepsy and cataplexy which affects her everyday life.

Suffering from the brain disorder means Kate can fall asleep at inappropriate times. She has to take several naps a day to cope with her condition.

Kate also suffers from cataplexy which is a loss of muscle control and occurs from too much laughter, in Kate’s case.

During the show Kate went on a date with history student Josh, 21, from Leicester University, and can also be seen enjoying spending time around Loughborough University with her friends.
