Leeds Union is launching Club Tropicana, and it’s bascially the new Fruity

I AM SO EXCITED

LUU is launching a new club night this Freshers' and we have a feeling it's going to give Fruity a run for it's money.

The new event, Club Tropicana, started as a very popular student night in Sheffield with 80's, pop and disco music. Now, they are making their debut in Leeds.

The first event will be held in Terrace on the 29th September at 4pm-10pm. Yes, I know it seems early but it's Freshers' Week, you'll be drinking all day and every day anyway. The club night launch will be on the 11th October at 11pm in Stylus and that's where the real party is at.

Tropicana is famous for timeless anthems, which make it one of those nights where you never want to leave. I'm literally imagining an 80s version of Donuts meets Fruity meets everything that's missing from the Leeds club scene.

Club Tropicana even won the "Best Club Night" in Exposed magazine 2018.

We all want to be as ecstatic as her

Freya Gill-Stevens, a Club Tropicana representative, said: "We launched in Sheffield last September and the night has just gone from strength to strength".

Freya promises there are some "amazing surprises in store for Club Trop in Leeds- we can’t wait to show you all!”

Summer blues will be no more with the ultimate beach vibes of Club Tropicana. There will be wave projections, pink flamingos, surfboard signs, rubber ducks, Hawaiian leis and even inflatables. I told you it was the new Fruity.
