Embrace your inner Lady Elspeth because a Saltburn themed club night is coming to Cardiff

It’s murder on the dance floor this February in Cardiff

Clwb Ifor Bach is hosting a Saltburn themed club night next month.

The event, called Murder on the Dancefloor, is on Thursday 22nd February and will be a dazzling night of 2000s hits from Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Arctic Monkeys, MGMT and many more y2k cult classics.

If you want to listen to the songs from the movie while you get ready, check out a ranking of the soundtrack here.

Not sure what to wear? Make sure you have your sequins, low-rise jeans and fur coats at the ready because the venue want everyone to come in their outfits best inspired by the film.

The event starts at 11pm and finishes at 2am so here’s to hoping you don’t have a Friday 9am.

Tickets are on sale now on Fatsoma. Currently, the second release tickets are five pounds, plus a one pound fee. Third release will be seven pounds alongside the fee, so buy your tickets as soon as possible to avoid extra costs.

Haven’t heard much about Saltburn? Maybe you’ve been avoiding all the posts on social media or simply living under a rock. Here’s a quick summary to get you up to speed.

Oliver (Barry Keoghan) and Felix (Jacob Elordi) are students at Oxford University in 2006. After getting to know each other and becoming good friends, Felix invites Oliver back to his beautiful country estate, Saltburn, for the summer. Oliver finds himself getting a little too involved with the entirety of Felix’s family, wrapped up in the thrilling lifestyle of the English upper class.

We can’t reveal or spoil too much about the film, so you’ll have to watch it on Amazon Prime Video, but if you like iconic 2000s music and a film that will have you on the edge of your seat, definitely give it a go.
