A UoB neuroscience student has died

UoB urge students to use available support services

Alex Willis, an undergraduate neuroscience student at The University of Bristol, has tragically passed away.

A spokesperson for The University of Bristol said: “We have offered our support to Alex’s family and friends, and our thoughts and sympathies are with them all at this very difficult time.

“We know the profound impact that the death of one of our students can have on our students and staff.

“We would encourage any members of our community who are affected by this news to make sure they contact University wellbeing services for help, as well as seeking support from their own friends or family.”

If you are experiencing any mental health issues or high levels of stress, help is readily available for those that need it.
