Nando’s confirm they’re expecting to open a Selly Oak branch in September

Hannah-Mae ProdgerThe popular Portuguese chicken restaurant, 'Nando’s', have confirmed that they will be opening in Selly Oak in September.
The Tab spoke to the official Nando's Facebook who told us that they were 'looking at opening sometime around the beginning of September'.
They stressed that 'an official date hasn't been advised but it will be around this time'.
University of Birmingham students noticed a Facebook page titled 'Nando's Selly Oak' was created on the 3rd July.
On 17th July a picture was posted that said: ‘Guess who’s coming to town’ and since then word began to spread.
The picture already has over 650 comments as UoB students began tagging each other in excitement and sharing it to Fab n Fresh.

We spoke to some UoB students; first year, Rosie Phillpot, told the Tab the opening was 'perfect' as it came 'just as I move to Selly'.
Second year, Tom Grainger, said 'Smart move. All we need now is a spoons.'
Who needs Roosters when you can now get Nando’s without having to trek all the way into town. Finally, some more chain restaurants are coming to Selly.
