Selling Sunset Pioneertown

Inside Pioneertown: The genuine wild west town owned by Selling Sunset cast member Alanna

But this is genuinely the most iconic thing ever

During Selling Sunset, new cast member Alanna Gold casually announced the fact that she owns a genuine wild west style town called Pioneertown. Alanna whisked the rest of her co-stars for a weekend trip there and it looked absolutely gorgeous.

The town is located just outside of Joshua Tree and was established in 1946 as a movie set where the stars could also stay and relax with their co-workers. The town is completely car-free and quite literally located in the desert. But yes, you can ride your horse through Pioneertown, because of course you can. They even offer classic reenactments with gunslingers every weekend.

But, from how much it would cost you to actually stay there per night to what other amenities the town offers, let’s find out everything there is to know about Pioneertown after seeing it on Selling Sunset.

Cosmic Ranch is one of the boujiest places you can stay in Pioneertown, although it’ll cost you a pretty penny for just one night at this tranquil location. According to Airbnb, two nights in September will cost you a whopping £803. I feel like some of the Selling Sunset girlies definitely stayed here when they visited Pioneertown.

The retreat offers three bedrooms, a pool and a private pool, and is only a short walk from the main street of Pioneertown. Get me there asap please.

The main street features over 10 authentic shops

The main street of Pioneertown features over 10 stunning shops including an old style motel, pottery studio, general store and even a saloon.

Each of the shops has been handbuilt in order to fit in with the authentic and original style of the buildings, and they all look absolutely stunning.

You can choose to sleep under the stars or in an old style motel

If you want more of an authentic experience you can quite literally hitch your horse or RV up and sleep under the desert stars. It doesn’t get much more simple than this, as other than a bathroom you literally just turn up and sleep.

If you want a slightly more high-end option you could also choose to stay in the motel. A twin room starts from $350 for one night or you could pick a $400 gorgeous cabin, it even has a little porch I’m screaming.
