Inside new winter Love Island 2023 villa with three pools and swanky Hideaway

I see neon lights and a treehouse!

It’s less than one week until Love Island 2023 kicks off – and we’ve been given the cast list, so the next most important thing to take a look at is the iconic villa.

The Islanders this year will be living in the gorgeous £1.2million Ludus Magnus villa, in the wine region of Franschhoek in South Africa. It’s set in 25 acres, with three pools, one of which being an Olympic length swimming pool, a vineyard, a treehouse and a stage area. The talent show is going to be better than ever!

The villa is a sprawling mansion set in millionaire’s row in South Africa. It’s not too far from what we know, because it still features an iconic fire pit for the Islanders to gather around. When it’s not being rented by ITV, one night in the mansion costs upwards of £430 a night.

The villa does have 17 bedrooms, but contestants will all share a massive bedroom as usual, with a bathroom that includes two side-by-side bathtubs.

The house, which is environmentally friendly and generates its own electricity, has an outside dining area, large kitchen and an open plan dining room. Plenty of space for drama, arguments and secret kisses.

This year’s villa has extra areas for Islanders to disappear away to in their couples, a brand-new Hideaway and a treehouse! Maya Jama said the new Hideaway will “definitely bring out the romance” alongside a new rule which will see Islanders allowed to take weekends away there in their pairs.

There is also a “play area” with sex toys and outfits, naturally, which Maya Jama said will be like a “little weekend away” for the Islanders. The Hideaway space is the biggest Love Island has ever had.

There is also a treehouse out in the garden, giving Islanders even more of a chance to get away in their pairs, which producers are obviously hoping will give us more secret chats. Hopefully we’ll get a treehouse recreation of Ekin-Su crawling across the terrace last year.

The treehouse has views over the South Africa mountains, and producers have said to keep our eyes peeled, as it’s the perfect spot for a bombshell to be waiting. 👀
