Netflix’s new film Mother/Android is everything tired, boring and cliché about apocalypse films all wrapped up nicely in a little, robotic, android package. The film has got a bleak 4.8 score on IMDb, and an even bleaker 32 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes. Even the name is uninspired. What’s the film about? A woman on the verge of becoming a mother and an android apocalype! Let’s just call it Mother/Android then, shall we? Job done! Chloë Grace Moretz

The most famous face in the cast of Mother/Android on Netflix is Chloë Grace Moretz, playing the lead role of Georgia. She made a name for herself as a child actress before starring in a string of hit films. She first starred as a child in the 2005 remake of The Amityville Horror, and had a recurring role as Shelby on Desperate Housewives. She gained international acclaim in 2010 for her role as Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass, and then went on to play the lead role in the 2o13 remake of Carrie.

Chloë has also starred in Let Me In, Dark Shadows, Suspiria and Greta.

Algee Smith

After a relatively recent breakthrough, Algee Smith plays the male lead in Mother/Android. He’s best known for his role as Jake in Judas And The Black Messiah and his main role as Chris in the acclaimed teen drama Euphoria.

Raúl Castillo

Raúl Castillo plays the mysterious role of Arthur. He’s best known for his acclaimed role as Richie in Looking, a role he reprised in 2016 for Looking: The Movie. He’s also had bit parts in Riverdale, Gotham and Atypical. Film wise, he’s known for his roles in Army Of The Dead, Unsane and Knives Out.
