James Corden says there are ‘no plans’ for more Gavin and Stacey episodes

Greg BarradaleJames Corden has poured cold cinzano all over the hopes of everyone dreaming about new Gavin and Stacey episodes after the Christmas special.
Corden, who writes the show with Ruth Jones, revealed at the Oscars that there are currently no plans to resolve the frankly whopping cliffhanger of Smithy’s proposal.
“We have no plans to make another, not at the moment,” Corden told Lorraine.
“We’ll have a sit down and think about that at some point but we certainly haven’t had that discussion yet.”
Well, at least the door is slightly open. And we’re not getting a spinoff with Smithy’s new girlfriend.
Anyway, do this quiz over and over again until we get news of a new episode.
