There’s now a site to tell you whether to vote at home or at uni

It’ll let you know where your vote will make the most difference


If you’re struggling to decide where your vote will count in the upcoming General Election, there’s now a site which does it for you.

GE2017 has been created to help students make the choice between voting at home and voting at uni by telling them where their vote will make the most difference.

All you have to do is enter your home postcode and your uni postcode, and the site will work out where you should vote to make the most difference.

So for example, if you’re a Labour supporter from Surrey but at uni in York, the site will tell you to vote at uni to stand more of a chance of getting Jezza in.

The site will also tell you if your vote won’t make much of a difference, like so:
