The surprising 360 of ‘Thomas’, who starred in the most notorious gay p*rn film of all time

Love them or hate them, some p*rnstars are so ingrained in popular culture that they become almost mandatory faces in our lives. 

Johnny Sins, who collabed with Lily Phillips, is the most obvious, for even if you haven’t watched his videos, you’ve proboably seen the memes. In more modern times, Bonnie Blue is the greatest example. Most people haven’t watched her Fansly content, but I’m betting you know the latest in her long history of morally questionable stunts. 

Things get even more niche when you narrow your scope to the queer community, and there’s perhaps no greater tale than a man called Thomas.

Who is ‘Thomas’, and why does he constantly go viral? 

The gay world changed forever in 2015 when the p*rn site Beefcake Hunter released a video entitled Worshipping a Florida Beach Young Dude. It included a man under the alias of Thomas, who was doing gay-for-pay content for an undisclosed reason.

It quickly became one of the most-watched videos of all time, bringing Thomas back for sequels, including Getting Pounded by Thomas and Thomas Tracing List.

Now, a hot straight dude doing gay-for-pay is nothing particularly groundbreaking, but for one reason or another, it has become iconic within the gay community. Even now, over a decade later, people still whisper about it on Reddit and Twitter, and Thomas’ face continues to pop up in posts. He’s widely dubbed “Florida Beach Dude” and spoken about as if some urban legend. 

“Does he not realise the impact he has on the gay community?” one person wrote on Reddit. 

Another said: “Omg Florida beach young dude — ICONIC.”

What’s he up to now?

Since becoming a sensation in 2015, Thomas, real name Christian Bingo, has stepped back from the world of adult entertainment. He was gay for pay, at the end of the day, so he broke from the industry after getting his cheque. 

Now, over a decade later, Christian is a full-on businessman with his own company, BGH Development Group. He’s also a full-time health insurance agent, having worked for USHEALTH Group since 2019. 

“Experienced Digital Marketing Specialist. Skilled in Advertising Sales, Customer Service, Marketing Strategy, Social Media Communications, and Sales Management,” his bio on LinkedIn reads. 

Outside of work, he seems to be into sports and fitness, and there’s even a recruitment card on ESPN for him. 

He’s still in Florida, and while he does have Instagram, it’s private. People on Twitter, some who allegedly follow him, claim he’s right-wing and MAGA, and though there is no confirmation of that, his Insta bio includes a bible reference.

Christian is a Christian, it seems.
