Halloweek is here and Cardiff is officially about to get spooky. You might be desperate for some plans or already have the date locked in, but the options for showing off that new outfit are endless.

Wednesday 29th October

In Cardiff, all good things start at the Students’ Union’s YPlas, and Halloween is no exception. YOLOWEEN, as it’s affectionately known, is one of the biggest nights of the student year. Societies in costumes and VKs flying around – what could be a better night? If you’ve got a ticket, lucky you; if not, you can always queue after 11pm. And if queuing isn’t your vibe, here are some fang-tastic alternatives:

Paint & Sip: Spooky Starry Night – Revolution Cardiff

For those who’d rather skip the YOLOWEEN madness, this one’s a calmer, classier option. Swap the dance floor for a paintbrush and create your own spooky masterpiece, drink in hand.

Talent is not required, and spooky Pinterest inspiration will help you create a memorable piece, maybe even ready for the frame. For £32 at 7pm you can get tickets here but be warned, there will be scary colours.

Bingo Lingo: House of Horrors – Cardiff SU
