Sparkle Megan’s former employee speaks out on what she’s really like outside of Love Is Blind

Sparkle Megan hasn’t exactly held back from telling everyone and their dog on Love Is Blind about her girl boss background, but we’ve finally heard from an employee who claims they worked with her in the past, at a huge gas and oil company.

They said: “I worked with Megan for a few short months at the same company (Felix Energy.) I left right before the divestment took place. Employees were given C shares and an opportunity to buy B Shares. My shares, had I stayed would’ve paid out about $1M.”

“Many employees received a large payout along those lines or greater and management received even more. I will add that though I didn’t get to know anyone all too well in my few short months, Megan was always very nice to everyone around, myself included,” they added.

Basically, everyone’s been trying to figure out if Megan really did take home a huge payout from Felix Energy, which was acquired by WPX Energy in 2020. As a result, a lawyer who watched the show is claiming she’s “unlikely to have gotten a payout” from the firm.

Megan’s LinkedIn page mentions that she helped navigate the $2.5 billion sale that Felix Energy made to WPX. It states that she “orchestrated comprehensive internal and external communication strategies” and “played a key role” in company sales.

However, a lawyer has analysed: “The company that Megan worked for was controlled/majority owned by a PE firm, EnCap Investments. The goal of PE is to make money for the PE investors (not employees). Megan’s titles do not suggest she was senior.”

They added: “After the deal closed, the most likely thing that happened is that her role was absorbed/deemed reductant and she got $10-$25k as a severance.” Now though, Megan is set to launch her new technology wellness business, Veyda, just as she celebrates her fame!
