Wait a second, Madison and Joe’s break-up on Love Is Blind was completely staged?!

Madison and Joe fought tirelessly on Love Is Blind, but it turns out they actually broke up for real off-camera, and had to redo the awkward scene to be filmed. Their split happened the night before what we all got to see, and it was totally fake, Madison claimed.

I can’t even imagine how awkward that was, especially as Joe was brutally honest. “We go back to our apartment and I have a real sit down with him. I’m like, ‘Look, I want to do this. Like, if you jump, I’ll jump,’” she recalled on the Love To See It podcast.

Madison added: “I want to do this with you. I need to know where the hell your head’s at. His face dropped. He went totally pale and he looked me in the face and said, ‘You’re not it. I’m going to say no at the altar.’ And that was honestly the actual breakup.”

The following morning, production crews for Love Is Blind came into the film the staged breakup scene. And it’s not the first time a staged split has happened, because season seven couple’s Tyler Francis and Ashley Adionser’s tense conversation about his kids was set up!

And to make things worse, Madison and Joe went out following their wedding dress and tux fittings, she claimed, saying she had no idea Joe walked out mid-fitting, and ran into some other Love Is Blind cast members, including Kacie, who she felt he was flirting with.

“I’m standing there telling his two guys that were at the tux fittings that I love him. I’m excited about this,” she recounted. “They know full well what just happened at tux fittings. No one is telling me. Like, I’m literally standing there ring on my finger, like, giddy.”
