Guys, wtf is James Charles doing in a Manchester Wetherspoons
This wasn’t on my 2025 bucket list
Of all the places to in Manchester, YouTube icon James Charles was in Paramount Wetherspoons on Oxford Street yesterday.
The YouTuber dined in Spoons alongside Cal Edwards a TikToker with just over 100k followers.
He previously took James to Greggs the last time the American was in the UK and decided to give him the full English experience with a trusty Spoons dinner.

He might potentially be the only person to enter this Wetherspoons who’s managed to walk out in a straight line and not seeing double.
James’ asks “what the cuisine of Wetherspoons is”, to which his friend replies “everything”.
The influencer and his friend order a spice bag, 11-inch garlic pizza and fish and chips, but unfortunately not my firm favourite of a purple rain pitcher.
In the video, he says how he is excited to try the spice bag, which he loves.
The spice bag clearly goes down a treat for James, who says it’s “doing something for him”.
While the spice bag was enjoyed by him, he describes the garlic bread pizza as “giving cardboard”. Tough critic.
Previously, his friend Cal, who filmed the video, has taken James to Northern favourite Greggs. To be fair, who can resist a sausage roll.
After seeing this, I’m just excited to see where James will try next: Burger Box, Picadilly Gardens McDonald’s – the list is endless.
