Everything Selena Gomez’s kidney donor posted after being snubbed a wedding invite

Pfff, who wants to go to Santa Barbara anyway?

The supposed feud between Selena Gomez and her kidney donor, Francia Raisa, got new life this week when she responded to not being invited to her former friend’s wedding to Benny Blanco.

As we know, Francia donated a kidney to Selena Gomez when her lupus caused severe kidney damage and threatened her life. Unfortunately, it seems the two grew apart afterwards, with people speculating about a mysterious beef between them. Though both parties denied any bad blood, Francia was not invited to the wedding of the year. In contrast, the likes of Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Zoe Saldaña, and Paris Hilton were all on the guest list. I mean *technically* Francia did go, at least a portion of her did.

Speaking at a recent event, Francia dispelled the beef as “just rumours” as she added: “I know she’s married, and I’m very happy for her. She has a life, and she is already a billionaire, and I am grateful that I could do that for her.”

Francia wasn’t at Selena and Benny’s nuptials, so here’s what she got up to instead.

She was posting TikTok trends when Selena was prepping

Two days before Benny and Selena tied the knot on September 27, Francia took part in the “unfortunately I do love” TikTok trend. Her selection included: Putting her phone on do not disturb (same), being a Leo, cancelling plans, eating in bed, a seven-step skincare routine, going MIA, white noise, driving everywhere, brushing after each meal, TikTok shop, and being single.

Francia posted a dance video after Selena Gomez’s wedding

Though we don’t know what she did on the big day itself, the day after the wedding, she posted a dance video with Dancing with the Stars professional Sasha Farber.

We love a photo dump

The next post, on September 29, saw Francia unload her Photos app onto Instagram. It was lots of dancing, a cheeky yacht vacay, and the Barnes and Noble book event where she made her initial statement.

She posted a lengthy message about recovery and healing

In another post on September on October 3, Francia detailed her ADHD and chronic PTSD diagnosis and how dancing has become part of her healing journey.

“In the midst of that, dance found its way back to me. And for the first time in a long time, dance doesn’t trigger me. I’m finally starting to feel like myself, and I’m falling in love with dance all over again,” she said.

Francia was ‘grateful and glowing’ yesterday

Posting some more pics from her recent yacht trip, she wrote in the caption: “Somewhere between grateful and glowing.”

The very first comment was “Girl, did she invite you???”
