Omg, this iconic Love Island girly was ‘hand-picked’ by Rihanna for exciting new collab

An iconic Love Island girl from season 10 has just helmed an exciting venture for none other than Rihanna and her Savage x Fenty brand.

Ella Thomas, who featured on season 10 of Love Island where she was coupled up with Tyrique Hyde, is said to have “impressed” the singer at a meeting in 2024.

“Ella met Rihanna last year and really impressed her and her team,” a source told The Sun, seemingly a reference to 2024’s Fenty Hair event in London.

“She was hand-picked to host the Fenty Beauty Cafe in Covent Garden today. She’s really starting to make a name for herself in the presenting world, and it’s obviously a really big deal to work with such a well-known beauty brand.”

Fenty Beauty Cafe, which was held in Covent Garden, saw Ella give out complimentary iced drinks as Fenty makeup experts mixed personalised foundation from the brand’s expansive 50-shade range. The drinks available included iced coffee, iced mochas, iced blueberry lattes, and iced blueberry matchas.

Free samples were also given out of either Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation or Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint.

After the collaboration with Rihanna, Ella Thomas posted a flurry of glam snaps on her Instagram alongside the caption: “You’re looking at your @fentybeauty host!! From loving the brand since day one to hosting with them. Very grateful.. make sure you visit the Fenty Beauty cafe pop up!”

In the pictures, and while dressed in a gorg brown and purple plaid, Ella could be seen posing up a storm outside of the Fenty Beauty truck.

Ella’s Love Island extended family congratulated her in the comments, with Ekin-Su dubbing it “Phenomenal” and Uma Jammeh responding “YESSSS QUEEN.”

“No, but the whole thing from Ella and rain, I’m Umberella. Just iconic babeeee,” another person wrote.

Someone else added: “Well deserved, Ella.”
