New video shows Katy Perry allegedly hit with electric shock whilst performing on tour

It all happened whilst she was mid-air

Katy Perry has been at the centre of various misfortunes whilst performing on her Lifetimes tour, so much so that it’s getting to the point I fear it may be cursed. She’s handled some of them like a pro, truly coming out as someone who really knows what they’re doing – but some of them have been so unfortunate that I don’t think anyone could have shrugged them off. The latest saga is that Katy Perry just got what looks like an electric shock as she’s hoisted up into mid air during the tour date – and at this point I honestly need an investigation into why literally everything has gone wrong since she landed back down from space.

Someone free our girl

In a video taken from the Lifetimes tour, which has seen Katy Perry promoting her much hated album 143 on a world tour, Katy Perry is seen getting lifted into the air by numerous wires surrounded by LED strip lights – when her body suddenly spasms. This has everyone on Twitter saying that it gave her an electric shock as she prepared to do her next number.

This electric shock is not the first malfunction or chaos that’s hit Katy Perry on tour – with numerous other events causing drama. These include Katy at one point nearly falling from a giant ball prop, as well as a more serious malfunction with her butterfly prop that was flying around the venue when it dropped suddenly causing Perry to nearly drop with it. She has also had a fan collapse on stage, and a laser pointed at her.

One of the worst was when a fan invaded the stage – where Katy got a lot of praise for how she handled the quite scary situation. She’s also tripped and slipped whilst performing on the tour.
