Meg reveals what her family *really* thinks of Dejon after Love Island, and I’m surprised

It’s safe to say they weren’t his biggest fans

Meg’s family made it very clear that they didn’t like Dejon when they came into the Love Island villa, but what do they think of him now after the show?

When they got dumped, Meg said she and Dejon would be “proving to everyone we are actually going to stay together!” and “spending time together and introducing one another to family and friends”.

It seems like they’ve been doing exactly that – and succeeding! In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, the Islander revealed her family has done a full 180 on Dejon after meeting him properly in person. I’m surprised their opinions have changed so quickly!

“I think everyone loves him at home. From when my mum and sister came in the villa, obviously, watching what they’d seen on TV. Now we’ve been home and they’ve seen us together, their whole opinions have completely changed, just from meeting him once,” she said.

“They’re like, ‘Oh my God, you two are really good together. He really respects you,’ and stuff like this, so obviously, it was not nice for them to watch on TV at all. I mean, every time I cried, I think they cried. It’s hard for them to know that, but I’m glad that they’ve changed their mind, already, on him, and it’s such a positive thing, because all they want me to be is happy.”

Meg said she also introduced Dejon to all her friends at her welcome home party, and they all love him too. So, it sounds like his behaviour in the villa has been well and truly forgotten. For now, at least.

Since leaving the villa, Meg and Dejon have been going on loads of dates and dare I say it, actually being quite cute together? On a live stream, Dejon said they’re “hopefully” going to be moving in together soon, too.
