People are convinced this moment proves Dejon purposely stirred up Love Island drama

Love Island this year has been phenomenal, and endless saga of genuinely compelling drama. That is until this week, where things seem to be going awry and viewers are getting fed up with how the show seems determined to ruin things for people that we all love in the villa. Namely, Shakira and Toni. The Dejon and Meg loving and the fact they’ve sent Megan back in to bring Meg and Helena endless joy is rubbing people up the wrong way, but last night there was one key moment on Love Island where Dejon did something that felt so random and out of character about Shakira people are convinced he’s either the biggest sh*t stirrer in the villa or that producers are interfering to maximise drama. It’s a massive yikes, to be honest.

‘Why would he ask that?’

In last night’s episode, it all went royally tits up for Conor and Shakira. Shakira came to the realisation that she didn’t like Conor “enough” to keep pursuing the romantic connection. The pair were initially close friends but decided to give it a bit of a go, but Shakira came to the conclusion that Conor was more invested in the situation than she was. It was difficult, because they’d previously fell out over Harry and Harrison meddling about how they felt Shakira still liked Harry.

Shakira sort of confessed that whilst she doesn’t want Harry back, she accepts that she felt something stronger with him – and she longs for that connection again. She doesn’t feel it with Conor, and therefore felt like it was unfair to continue the situation without letting him know that. She also spoke to Harry, and Conor walked through at a bad time and saw them talking which made a bit of a saga.

But why did Conor walk through at that moment? Because Dejon asked him “have you seen Shakira?” This key moment has everyone watching Love Island thinking why on earth would he ask that?

He’s either stirring up drama, or people also think producers are setting it up for TV purposes and asked him to ask Conor where she was.

Tonight the Grafties looms, and we are once again going to see Shakira look bad. So, that’s fun I guess! Honestly, at this point, I hope she walks out.
